Mr. Guem Nak Choe joined Lee & Ko on August 1, 2014 as a senior advisor for broadcasting, telecommunications and media issues. Mr. Choe is a professional journalist who began his career in 1984, when he began working as a journalist with the MBC Newsroom and he subsequently acquired extensive experience and developed an exceptional level of expertise in news and media through positions that have included working for SBS as a Washington correspondent, and later as the SBS News & Sports Dept. political director and then director, followed by promotions to the positions of Director of the News & Sports Division and Director of the Broadcasting Assistance Division. From 2011 to 2013, he also worked as the Chief Secretary for Public Relations at the Presidential Blue House. At Lee & Ko, in addition to his senior advisory role, he currently serves as the current chairman of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
