On December 11, 2013, the Minister of Health and Welfare awarded a citation to Seok Pyo Hong, an attorney of Lee & Ko and an assistant administrator of pro bono activities of Lee & Ko. Mr. Hong has engaged in matters in relation to “the Act on the Prohibition of Discrimination of Disabled Persons, Remedy against Infringement of their Rights, etc.” The purpose of the Act and Mr. Hong’s commitment in it were to encourage the disabled’s social participation and equal right. In that regard, the Ministry of Health and Welfare recognized Mr. Hong’s contribution and awarded the citation.
