Lee & Ko awarded the ‘Best Crisis Management Initiative of the Year’ by The Asia Legal Awards 2022

Lee & Ko received an award for the Best Crisis Management Initiative of the Year in the Asian-region by The Asia Legal Awards 2022. 
 
Lee & Ko’s Crisis Management Practice Group has played a role in strengthening the global crisis responses capabilities of major domestic companies and their subsidiaries which operate global high-tech businesses by helping them establish a global compliance system. It analyzes and seeks to improve on measures concerning the establishment of a compliance foundation such as the compliance organization between the client company’s head office and overseas corporations, compliance policies and operating methods, as well as providing traditional compliance areas such as fair trade, anti-corruption, and personal information. In particular, the root cause analysis and improvement plans for a total of 9 at-risk areas, which includes intellectual property and document management were reviewed and suggested, and continuous monitoring methods were sought.
 
The Asia Legal Awards is an annual awards ceremony hosted by The Asian Lawyer, a sister magazine of the renowned American legal media ‘The American Lawyer’ (ALM), which recognizes the best Asian lawyers and law firms, deals and in-house counsel teams across the entire field of business.
