Lee & Ko is honored to have been selected as the 2016 Asia IP Korea Patent Firm of the Year at the annual Asia IP Awards ceremony, which was held at the Westin Resort in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia on October 7, 2016.
Asia IP is a prestigious publication (under the Apex Asia Media Group) that provides up-to-date coverage and in-depth analysis of intellectual property issues and developments in Asia and around the world. Asia IP has been hosting the annual Asia IP Awards ceremonies since 2009 (following Asia IP’s establishment in 2008) in order to give special recognition to outstanding IP law firms in Asia. Each year, the awards process begins with the examination of the top IP law firms in various countries in Asia and the selection of the five best law firms for the patent, trademark and copyright practice areas in each of those countries. The final award winners in each country are then selected through online voting participated in by 5,000 in-house attorneys worldwide. (The 2016 Asia IP Awards ceremony is also noteworthy for having included Myanmar, Macau and Cambodia for the first time.)
