Donghun Yi is a criminal defense attorney and a member of our Criminal Defense (Investigations) team. He worked at the National Police Agency for 8 years prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2022. He has built up a solid career in criminal investigation during his service at the police agency. In particular, he is an expert in the field of police investigations and while serving at the Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency's Metropolitan Investigation Unit, he carried out investigations on serious crimes such as the Hwaseong serial murder case, the fire incident at a large distribution center, narcotics cases, child abuse and murder cases, and illegal real estate speculation cases. He is also an adjunct professor at Korean National Police University and Korean Police Investigation Academy and writes papers and booklets on investigation practices.
