Jun Hee Choi is a senior foreign attorney in the Banking & Finance Group. Her practice areas encompass cross-border transactions spanning multiple jurisdictions, which a special focus on acquisition finance, structured finance, project finance & infrastructure, real estate and other related areas of law. Some of her recent deal experiences include advising on financing for CBC-led Consortium’s acquisition of a controlling stake in Hugel Inc., Carlyle’s acquisition of A Twosome Place and Eco Frontier (Singapore) Pte Ltd.’s acquisition of TES-Envirocorp Pte. Ltd.
Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Ms. Choi worked as an associate at Freehills (currently Herbert Smith Freehills) and as an analyst at Macquarie Bank.
Ms. Choi received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Columbia Law School with the highest academic distinction (James Kent Scholar) in 2018. She received a dual degree of Commerce (Finance) and Laws from The University of New South Wales, Australia in 2004 and a graduate diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law (Sydney), Australia in 2005. Ms. Choi also received a CFA designation in 2011.
Ms. Choi is admitted to NSW Bar in Australia since 2005 and New York Bar in U.S. since 2018.
