Tae Bok Cho, a highly experienced tax specialist, serves as an expert on various tax matters for Lee & Ko's tax practice group. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Mr. Cho was at Korea's National Tax Service (NTS) for approximately 30 years where he served as the head of NTS's prominent Seongdong District Office. Mr. Cho is particularly well known for his expertise in the field of tax audit and corporate tax. In particular, he is extremely familiar with complex corporate tax laws and while at the NTS, provided authoritative interpretations on complex corporate tax issues. In private practice, based on his expertise and experience, he successfully sought advance rulings to resolve issues without resorting to dispute proceedings. In addition to his expertise in tax audit matters, and actively assisting clients (including a number of multi-national corporations) with regards to all aspects of the tax appeal process, Mr. Cho, more generally, has extensive experience and expertise in handling all forms of tax disputes. Mr. Cho is the author of "Practice of the Corporate Tax" (published in 2011).
