Since joining Lee & Ko in 2017, Min Hee Lim, as a member of its Antitrust & Competition Practice Group, has been counselled clients and litigated issues related to antitrust matters, reviews and investigations led by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (“KFTC”), mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance. Ms. Lim has successfully handled cases for multiple affiliate companies involving internal transactions, cartel conducts, unfair trade practices, and corporate consolidation filings; while offering comprehensive legal services and strategic advice in response to enforcement matters and follow-on disputes under applicable laws governed by the KFTC such as the Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act, Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act, Fair Agency Transactions Act, Act on Fair Transactions in Large Retail Business, Fair Transactions in Franchise Business Act, Act on Fair Labelling and Advertising, etc. In addition, Ms. Lim has proven track records of success in advising and representing her clients throughout the entire antitrust case process, spanning from KFTC reviews and investigations to administrative litigation, civil litigation, criminal defense and other related disputes brought forth by competent authorities including the Prosecution Service, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Korea Fair Trade Mediation Agency.

Represented Korea’s largest financial group in a case arising from alleged internal transactions between its affiliates
Defended an affiliate company of SK Group against allegations of unfair support
Represented liner shipping companies servicing on the Korea-Southeast Asia route in a case involving alleged price fixing
Represented Korea’s largest logistic company in an administrative case and claim for damages arising from alleged collusive conducts in the transit of steel products
Defended a global major pharmaceutical company against allegations of bid rigging in Korean vaccine procurement bids
Represented a German automotive manufacturer in a case regarding its alleged involvement in cartel conducts for emission reduction technologies
Defended an affiliate company of SK Group against allegations for bid rigging in LPG and dry ice
Represented major heavy industry companies in claims for damages arising from their violation of subcontracting laws (all acquitted by the Supreme Court)
Represented a construction company against claims for damages in connection with the Gyeongin Ara Waterway Project
Represented companies in administrative litigation regarding alleged price fixing for the purchase of cardboard paper
Advised and conducted corporate consolidation filings and due diligence for domestic and cross-border M&As (on behalf of companies across various industries, including telecommunications company ‘L’, oil company ‘S’, platform company ‘H’, etc.)
