Boogyu Kwak is a partner in the IP Practice Group. He joined Lee & Ko in 2016 after serving on the bench for 16 years. His practice covers all areas of IP litigation, including patent, trademark, design, trade secret, unfair competition and copyright. Having reviewed numerous intellectual property cases on the bench, he is particularly well-experienced in patent, trademark and design litigations.
Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Mr. Kwak served as a judge at the Patent Court, where he handled cases concerning electronics, electricity, telecommunications, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. In particular, he was involved in landmark cases involving semiconductor manufacturing processes, lithium-ion battery structure, and analgesic drugs' use.
