As a member of the firm's IP Practice and White Collar Crime Practice Group, Ms. Kang's practice focuses on related Intellectual property, criminal litigation and advisory matters. Prior to passing the Korean bar examination and joining Lee & Ko, Ms. Kang worked as a law enforcement officer for the National Police Agency.
With her background as an investigator in the National Police Agency, Ms. Kang is particularly well equipped to provide highly insightful and comprehensive legal advice and solutions with regard to criminal matters, especially with regard to intellectual property. She focused on the enforcement of IP rights with a particular emphasis on patent, trademark, counterfeit and trade secret misappropriation matters.
Since graduating Korea National Police University, Ms. Kang experienced a wide range of cases in Seoul and completed the crime investigation training course at the National Police Agency in 2011. She also completed her legal training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2015.
