Jeong Yeon Hong is a criminal law specialist at Lee & Ko. Prior to joining the firm in 2026, she served for 18 years as a prosecutor and most recently held the position of Head of the Labor Investigation Support Division at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office. She has built extensive expertise in industrial accidents, labor-related investigations, and criminal justice matters through a distinguished public service career.

During her tenure as a prosecutor, Ms. Hong was seconded to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, where she was responsible for providing legal advice on industrial accidents and conducting investigative procedure training for industrial accident inspection supervisors. She also served as head of the dedicated labor division at the Cheonan Branch of the Daejeon District Prosecutors’ Office and as a prosecutor in the Policy Planning Division of the Ministry of Justice, further broadening her experience in labor law, industrial accident matters, and legal policy. In her most recent role at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office, she directed and supported labor-related investigations nationwide. Ms. Hong combines strong academic and policy grounding with substantial investigative and trial experience across industrial accidents, labor investigations, and criminal matters.
