Yeongsik Jung spent 25 years with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City, where he safeguarded the welfare of Korean nationals living in or visiting Vietnam. During this time, he led the consular response to a broad spectrum of local incidents and emergencies, including traffic accidents, medical crises, and criminal matters, coordinated directly with Vietnamese police, prosecutors, and other government authorities on investigations and victim assistance, and guided affected individuals and their families through every stage of Vietnamese administrative and criminal-procedure requirements. Thanks to this hands-on experience, Mr. Jung has unparalleled insight into consular protection, crisis management, and Vietnamese legal processes. He now applies that expertise in Vietnam, providing on-the-ground advice and practical support to parties involved in incidents or criminal proceedings, as well as to their families.
