Jun Hee Choi is a senior foreign attorney in the Banking & Finance Group. Her practice areas encompass cross-border transactions spanning multiple jurisdictions, which a special focus on acquisition finance, structured finance, project finance & infrastructure, real estate and other related areas of law. Some of her recent deal experiences include advising on financing for CBC-led Consortium’s acquisition of a controlling stake in Hugel Inc., Carlyle’s acquisition of A Twosome Place and Eco Frontier (Singapore) Pte Ltd.’s acquisition of TES-Envirocorp Pte. Ltd.

Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Ms. Choi worked as an associate at Freehills (currently Herbert Smith Freehills) and as an analyst at Macquarie Bank.

Ms. Choi holds a doctorate in law from Seoul National University Graduate School of Law and received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Columbia Law School with the highest academic distinction (James Kent Scholar) in 2018. She studied a dual degree of Commerce (Finance) and Laws at The University of New South Wales, Australia in 2004. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she received a graduate diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law (Sydney), Australia in 2005. Ms. Choi is admitted to NSW Bar in Australia since 2005 and New York Bar in U.S. since 2018.

Ms. Choi also received a CFA designation in 2011.
