Lee & Ko provided comprehensive legal advisory for Lotte Chemical Corporation in its sale of 100% shares in Lotte Chemical UK Ltd., which owns and operates a 350,000 ton per year polyethylene terephthalate (PET) facility in Wilton, United Kingdom. The acquirer was Alpek Group, a Mexican petrochemical conglomerate, and this transaction was their very first acquisition outside of the Americas. The transaction was signed on October 28, 2019 and will be completed by the end of 2019, expectedly.
