Lee & Ko recently represented KACO new energy Inc. with respect to its sale of inverter businesses to OCI Power Co., Ltd. (an affiliate of OCI Group). KACO new energy Inc. is a Korean subsidiary of KACO new energy GmbH, a German company engaging in the businesses of developing, manufacturing and selling solar power related systems and products around the world.
Lee&Ko’s services provided include advising a business transfer agreement, actively participating in the negotiation process, and advising other related agreements and transactions. Despite time constraints, the team of Lee&Ko led by Hyungsoo Lee, Joachim Nowak and Hongyul Ryoo could successfully advise on various and complicated issues related to the transactions in an efficient manner.
