CJ E&M and CJ O Shopping Merger

Lee & Ko successfully advised on the merger transaction between CJ O Shopping Co., Ltd (“CJ O Shopping”) and CJ E&M Corporation (“CJ C&M”) in which CJ E&M merged into CJ O Shopping. Lee & Ko provided comprehensive legal service in representing both companies, and the merger agreement and BOD resolution were successfully executed on January 17, 2018 (with expected merger date on August 1, 2018). This transaction raised a number of complex legal issues as it deals with a merger between listed companies.
