Lee & Ko successfully obtained ‘End of KFTC Investigations Procedure’ decision for an international shoe manufacturer, which resulted in a complete dismissal of the charges. The KFTC had alleged that nine (9) domestic and international shoe manufacturers had engaged in false advertising of functional toning shoes, and imposed USD$1.07 million in fines. This case was also investigated by the U.S. FTC, which resulted in Consent Orders and customer refunds by the accused companies.
