Upon Lee & Ko tax team’s successful completion of its FATCA consulting service with respect to KFB and 9 major life insurance companies, it was again retained to provide assistance to 8 major non-life insurance companies, including Samsung Insurance, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, and LIG Insurance. By successfully developing internal financial compliance regulations and manuals for implementing FATCA for such non-life insurance companies in Korea, Lee & Ko’s tax team completed its task of providing assistance to all major companies in Korea that were subject to FATCA .
