Merger between Ginza Stefany Inc. and R&Y

In March 2014, Ginza Stefany Inc. (“Ginza Stefany”), a Japanese subsidiary of LG Household & Health Care Co., Ltd., acquired 100% of the shares of Japan’s R&Y Corporation in an attempt to diversity its Japanese business.  Lee & Ko served as the sole legal advisor to Ginza Stefany.  Our M&A team collaborated with the Japan team to provide valuable advice to the client regarding the merger, which involved another successful acquisition of a Japanese company by LG Household.
