Sale of Wind Farm by Acciona S.A.

Lee & Ko represented Acciona S.A. in connection with its sale of all of the outstanding shares of the Yeong Yang wind farm facility held by its subsidiary Acciona Energía Inversiones Corea S.L. to Macquarie Korea Opportunities Management, a private equity fund established in Korea by the Macquarie group for approximately KRW 162 billion.  The transaction was completed on November, 2013 and is noteworthy because the Yeong Yang I facility includes 41 wind turbines, or power generation capacity of 61.5 megawatts, and was the first commercial wind farm built by a Spanish company in South Korea.
