On Auguest 13, 2020, Law Times reported on the various public interest activities carried out in the past year by Lee & Ko’s Public Interest Activities Committee.
Law Times stated, “Last year, Lee & Ko’s Public Interest Activities Committee won a case seeking cancellation of a non-recognition of refugee status decision for a Egyptian journalist,” and further mentioned, “In addition, Lee & Ko carried out other various public interest activities, including visits to 'Anna's House,' a social welfare foundation with which Lee & Ko has had a relationship since 2016; “Lee & Ko Friends,” a program fostering friendship with North Korean refugee students; volunteering at the Bread Sharing Center; and providing lectures on labor law at Heavenly Dream School.”
