Mr. Joon Kim, former Pasadena City Prosecutor, joins Lee & Ko

Lee & Ko is pleased to announce that Mr. Joon Kim, formerly a public prosecutor in for Pasadena City, California, has joined Lee & Ko.  

Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Mr. Kim served for nine years as a public prosecutor in California and, in such capacity, was responsible for managing a large number of prosecutions and prosecutorial investigations. Mr. Kim acquired a reputation for successfully handling many of the most difficult and complex cases, including illegal computer access/hacking crimes, organized crime, criminal conspiracy, child pornography and sexual assault by fraud cases (among others) and was the first prosecutor at the Pasadena Prosecutor’s Office to obtain convictions for a number of such types of cases.  

Mr. Kim’s background includes graduation from Yongsan High School (Seoul) and majoring in business management at the University of California, Berkeley.  Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Kim earned his law degree at the U.C. Berkeley School of Law.  Other professional legal experience includes working as a researcher for a state court and for the US Bankruptcy Court in California. Mr. Kim has extensive experience dealing with both criminal and civil litigation matters.
