Lee & Ko wins the most awards at The Asia Legal Awards 2023, including "Transport Law Firm of the Year"

Lee & Ko was honored with a total of four awards at the recent Asia Legal Awards 2023 held on March 30, 2023, winning the most prizes among Korean law firms. 

In addition to winning the Transport Firm of the Year award, the firm also took home the award for “Cross-border M&A Deal of the Year ($2 billion+)” for its work on the LG Energy Solutions - Stellantis electric vehicle battery joint venture (Nextar Energy) establishment, led by Attorneys Ho Joon Moon and Ki Wook Kang. As for the individual rankings, Attorney Jae Heon Park, specializing in litigation, was awarded “Litigator of the Year,”

On top of that, in the recent March edition of Asian Legal Business, Lee & Ko was the only Korean law firm to be named one of “Asia’s Top 15 ESG Law firms 2023,” further cementing its status by winning the most awards among its peers in Korea at this year’s Asia Legal Awards.  

The Asia Legal Awards is an annual awards ceremony hosted by The Asian Lawyer, a sister magazine of the renowned American legal media “The American Lawyer (ALM),” which recognizes the best Asian lawyers and law firms, deals and in-house counsel teams across the entire field of business.
