Joonghoon Kwak, a partner at Lee & Ko, is a leading real estate transaction and corporate lawyer in Korea. Since starting his practice in 1998, he has focused on the real estate transactions, construction projects, general corporate matters, environment issues and energy-related transactions. Clients whom he has successfully represented as leading counsel in real estate and corporate transactions include, among others, Lotte Shopping, Hotel Lotte, Fujifilm Korea, Canon Business Solution, POSTECH, POSTEEL, KEPCO, McDonalds Korea, etc.

Mr. Kwak's experience in real estate transactions include sale and purchase of commercial buildings in Korea (including the KEIC building, Daewoo building and Lotte Avenuel (luxury department store building) etc.), land, factories and warehouses. He is also experienced in handling various construction-related matters including construction of commercial buildings, factories and department stores, etc.

He is admitted to the Korean Bar. He received a B.A. in Law from Korea University, and an LL.M from the Indiana University School of Law.
