Cheong Ha Kim has joined Lee & Ko as an advisor with special expertise in the areas of financial compliance, administrative litigation, tax audits, construction and insurance.

Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2015, Mr. Kim worked for 28 years in public service, having begun his career as a civil servant at the Ministry of Government Administration in 1985 after passing the 28th Civil Service Examination in 1984. From 1989, he continued to serve in various positions for the Board of Audit and Inspection, including the position of Director General of the Provincial and Local Government Audit Bureau, as well as the positions of Deputy Secretary General Ⅱ and Secretary General.

While serving as the 29th Secretary General of the Board of Audit Inspection, Mr. Kim earned a reputation for his outstanding job performance and thoroughness in supervising audit procedures. He is highly respected for demonstrating initiative and consistently achieving results that served to reinforce the integrity of national finances and social security accounts, and for his contribution overall to the improvement of fiscal soundness and stability in the government-administered social security system.
