Ms. Ji-Young Tae joined Lee & Ko in 2015 as a partner of the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Her primary practice areas include legal advice and litigations with respect to various labor & employment matters, criminal labor law, Environment, Health, and Safety, general corporate law and white-collar crimes law.

Advised K Bank, one of the largest banks in Korea, on criminal and employment/human resources (HR) matters
Successfully litigated before the Korean National Labor Relations Commission in numerous unfair termination claims
Successfully litigated in multiple claims challenging the non-renewal of professorships at E Women's University and Y University, which are two of the top universities in Korea.
Conducted due diligence on HR matters in major corporate M&A deals
Advised on corporate unfair labor practice and overdue wages / severance payments
Provided legal advice regarding corporate acquisitions and secret funds
Advised the L Fund, an international private equity firm, with respect to a stock price manipulation scandal investigation by the Central Investigation
Division at the Prosecutor-General's Office Advised H Group, one the major business conglomerates in Korea, on an acquisition scandal involving D Life Insurance
Provided services a counsel to executives of other major Korean conglomerates in various investigations by the Prosecutor's Office involving potential white-collar crimes.
