Ju-Young Susie Im is a senior foreign attorney in the Banking & Finance Group with her focus areas in Asset Management, Banking and Real Estate. She leads inbound and outbound transactions mainly driven by banks, financial institutions including asset management companies and securities companies and other institutional investors such as sovereign pension funds.

In the past few years, she has handled many number of complex real estate transactions for Korean investors with various types of investment targets including data centers, logistics centers, hotels, shopping centers, student housing and prime office buildings located across US and Europe as well as assisting foreign investors with their investments into Korea in many different real estate sectors including office buildings, logistics centers, hotels and data centers.

She is often being sought after as foreign lenders’ legal counsel on inbound financing transactions and she regularly advises on high profile acquisition financing deals as global PE’s counsel or as lender’s counsel.

Ms. Im received a combined bachelor’s degree in Arts and Law from The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia in 2004 and a master’s degree in Law from the same university in 2010.

Ms. Im was admitted to the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and the High Court of Australia in 2005.
