Choong Jin Oh is a senior partner at Lee & Ko's IP Practice Group. He is recognized as one of the leading IP trial lawyer in Korea, and is highly regarded for his expertise and extensive experience in assisting clients with a broad range of IP matters.

His practice covers all areas of IP litigation, including patent, copyright(PC, mobile game), trademark, design, trade secret, unfair competition and in-service invention. Having reviewed numerous patent and trademark cases on the bench, he is particularly well-experienced in patent, trademark and design litigations in various venues, including prosecution matters before the Korean Intellectual Property Office, invalidation, cancellation and scope confirmation trials before the Industrial Property Tribunal and the Patent Court, and infringement actions before the judicial courts.

He joined Lee & Ko in 2010 after serving on the bench for 13 years. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Mr. Oh served as a judge at the Seoul District Court, the Seoul High Court and the Patent Court, (which handles the greatest number of patent and trademark cases in Korea). He was also Chief Judge at the Pusan District Court. In 2003, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Vienna. Mr. Oh is admitted to the Korean Bar and the Korean Patent Bar.

He has been awarded with many accolades in Chambers Asia, Managing IP, Benchmark Litigation and Legal 500 for his involvement in many of Korea's notable cases.
