Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2010 he served as a Judge Advocate of the ROK Navy in various fields such as Military Prosecutor (2007-2010), Head of Legislative Department of Navy HQ (2008), Legal Staff of Incheon Naval Sector Defense Command (2009). In 2015 and 2016, Seung Hwan LEE also worked as an international lawyer at the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he has broadened his understanding of international M&A practice.

Mr. Lee received B.A. in law from the Seoul National University in 2003 and LL.M in law from University of California at Berkeley in 2015. He was admitted to the Korean Bar and completed his legal training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea with the honor of winning the Chief Justice Award in 2007.
